Stories of Hope: a thread of love
April 2024, Sion Hill, Bath
A collaboration with a documentary photographer Jakub Knapp, exploring the themes of displacement as a result of war, a path towards hope through struggle and despair, searching for peace, unity and connection with universal human values like compassion, respect, kindness. The exhibition included installations, photographic prints and fabric tapestries.
Conflict and fragmentation: part one
February 2024, Sion Hill, Bath
We came together for this performative collaboration to explore our boundaries and find new creative possibilities that emerge when individual artworks are fragmented, either by design or intentional deconstruction. The idea was to create an exhibition as a group art piece, going through potentially conflicting situations to make it into a connected display. The performance was accompanied by live music that responded to the actions of artists and at the same time created a sense of dance-like flow. The results were displayed as an exhibition.
Final MA show at BathSpa University
September 2023, Bath
Coming together as one multidimensional layered community. Creative impulse that bends the line, mixes the black and the white while keeping the layers, allowing them all to be in one space. Allowing everything to be in the book too, layers of pages… communicating through grain, texture and colour.
Artists in Dialogue Show in Frome
March 2022, Frome
The project was exhibited at the Silk Mill gallery in Frome, featuring 3 artworks from each of the participating artists, portraits that I took of them, as well as large prints of the collective themed boards including written comments and artist's names.
